Thank you for your interest in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls.

Using the Menu

The purpose of the help section is to help you understand how this web site is organized so you can find your way around. First of all you will notice the menu at the top of the screen. This menu shows you the entire website broken down into categories and subcategories. The menus are organized similar to a book. You can have several chapters with their own small stories inside each. The home link will always be at the top left so you can find your way back to the beginning if you get too lost. If it sounds a little confusing, just try it out and see.

Using the Site Map

For those of you who prefer to use the table of contents of a book to find your way around there is the site map. The site map works just like the table of contents in a book. The entire web site is broken down into categories and subcategories and you can see how every page is related.

Using the Search Tool

For those of you more comfortable with Google or Yahoo search the last option is a search tool. It works similar to most popular search engines. Just type the main words for the topic.  If you would like information on membership just type the word membership. There is no need to type a complete question. You can also choose whether you would like to search for results containing all of the words, any one of the words, or even search for the exact phrase you type.

Free Search is a more complicated and powerful search method.  With Free Search you can create searches such as membership AND NOT application.  This search would return all results with the word membership and not the word application.

Free Search Commands - The following search commands can be used in together as long as a search words is between commands.
AND - Search results must contain both words.
OR - Search results must contain either search word.
AND NOT - Search must contain the word before but not the word after.
NEAR - Search results will be sorted based on how close the words are to one another.

Examples:
Valid Search: Membership AND application AND NOT job
Invalid Search: Membership AND OR application
